Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Jewelwink collects when you use this website, and how we use it.
Information we collect
When you browse or order from us, we collect:
- contact details you give us at checkout — name, email, phone number, delivery address
- order details — items purchased, amount paid, order status
- account details, if you create one — email and a securely hashed password
- basic technical data — IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and to keep the site working correctly
We never see or store your card, UPI, or banking details — Razorpay handles those directly.
How we use it
- to process and deliver your order, and to contact you about it
- to provide customer support
- to prevent fraud and keep the site secure
- to measure how well our advertising is working, using Meta's Pixel and Conversions API (see below)
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Advertising and analytics
We advertise on Instagram and Facebook, and use Meta's Pixel and Conversions API to understand which ads lead to purchases. This involves sharing limited, hashed information (such as your email or phone number) with Meta so it can match an ad click to a resulting order. It does not include your address, payment details, or the contents of your order.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and measure ad performance (including Meta's _fbp and _fbc cookies). You can disable cookies in your browser, though parts of the site — including checkout — may stop working correctly if you do.
Who we share information with
- Razorpay, to process payments and refunds
- India Post, to deliver your order — we share your name, phone, and delivery address only
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram), for advertising measurement as described above
- Supabase, our database and hosting provider, which stores your data on our behalf
- Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs an invisible check in the background to confirm you're a real visitor and not an automated bot, before letting you browse or check out. See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Policy for details on what it collects.
How long we keep your data
We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal purposes. If you browse without creating an account or completing an order, that session's data is automatically removed after 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to what we're legally required to retain (such as order records for tax purposes). Email us at hello@jewelwink.in to make a request.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data appropriately.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page.
